Continuing its development and contributing to a more accessible Internet, BRENAC Ipv4 broker is now sponsoring several probes from the RIPE Atlas project.
The RIPE NCC is building the largest Internet measurement network ever made. RIPE Atlas employs a global network of probes that measure Internet connectivity and reachability, providing an unprecedented understanding of the state of the Internet in real time.
Nearly 12.000 probes are active and we are sponsoring part of them. More about RIPE Atlas: https://atlas.ripe.net/
Volunteers from across the world help RIPE Atlas reach new places every day by hosting probes, the building blocks of our measurement network. Probes perform the active measurements which RIPE Atlas uses to collect data on Internet connectivity and reachability.
Hosting a RIPE Atlas probe is easy. You can either apply to host a hardware probe, which RIPE will ship to you for you to plug it into your router, or opt for a software probe, which you can install and run on your own infrastructure.
You will earn credits that you can use for your own customised measurements.
By sponsoring RIPE Atlas, BRENAC Ipv4 broker contributes to a free probe sent to all volunteers!
And of course we host one of them : https://atlas.ripe.net/probes/54032/#!tab-general
